Protect the servers your business runs on.

Mimic Networks protects the Windows and Linux servers your business runs on from unauthorized change, whether it comes from ransomware, an exploited vulnerability, an AI agent or a person with valid credentials. It checks each change against the server's known-good profile and stops unauthorized ones at the point of execution. Each page below starts from one problem or one industry.

Windows Server 2016

Windows Server 2016 after 12 January 2027.

Mimic keeps supporting Windows Server 2016 after Microsoft's Extended Support ends on 12 January 2027.

The guide covers what changes on that date and how to protect the servers you can't migrate in time. Read the Windows Server 2016 guide.

Limits

Where Mimic stops.

  • Mimic Networks protects Windows Server 2016 and later, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and later.
  • It doesn't run on laptops, desktops or network devices.
  • It doesn't run on industrial controllers, HMI panels or field devices. On a plant or a grid, it protects the Windows and Linux servers around them.
  • In Maintenance Mode, Mimic suspends enforcement and keeps monitoring.
  • It doesn't replace EDR, backups or patching. It runs alongside them.
